Introduction

Your privacy is our highest priority. AntiTheft is designed with privacy-first principles. This Privacy Policy explains how the AntiTheft app operates without collecting or storing any of your personal information.

Zero Data Collection Policy

We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data. The AntiTheft app operates entirely on your device, and any data generated (photos) is sent directly to services you own and control.

How AntiTheft Works

The AntiTheft app has a simple function: it monitors for failed unlock attempts on your device. When a wrong password, PIN, or pattern is entered, the app:

  1. Uses your device's front camera to capture a photo of the person attempting to unlock your device
  2. Sends this photo directly to your personal Google Drive account or your Telegram bot
  3. No copies of the photos are stored on our servers or transmitted to us at any point

Third-Party Services You Connect

The app allows you to send captured photos to your own accounts on these services:

  • Google Drive: Google Drive: If you choose to use this option, photos are sent directly to your personal Google Drive account. You maintain complete control over these photos. We never have access to your Google Drive or the photos stored there.
  • Telegram: Telegram: If you choose to use this option, photos are sent directly to your Telegram bot. Your bot token and chat ID are stored locally on your device only. We never receive these credentials or any photos sent through this channel.

App Permissions

For the app to function, it requires the following permissions:

  • Camera: Used only to capture photos when a failed unlock attempt is detected. These photos are not stored on your device or sent to our servers.
  • Device Administrator: Required to detect failed unlock attempts. This does not give us access to your passwords or other sensitive information.
  • Internet: Used solely to send photos directly to your Google Drive or Telegram when a failed unlock is detected.

Local Storage Only

Any configuration settings you create (such as your Google account login information or Telegram bot details) are stored only on your device. We do not have access to this information and cannot retrieve it.

Analytics and Tracking

We do not include any analytics, tracking, or advertising tools in our app. We have no way to track how you use the app or what actions you take within it.

Data Security

Since we don't collect any data, there is no risk of data breaches on our end. The security of your photos depends on the security of your Google Drive account or Telegram bot, which you control.
